Abstract

Educational models to overcome stunting are needed because stunting has a negative impact on the health and function of the body as well as increasing child morbidity. The prevalence of stunting under five in Indonesia in 2019 was 27.67%, in Bali 21.9% and Karangasem 26.23% above WHO 20%. This data is the reason for conducting research in 2020. The aim is to find out whether the educational model of bio acupressure massage using virgin coconut oil can increase appetite, sleep quality and immune power so that stunting toddlers increase height. The research method is quasi-experimental; the research design is nonequivalent control group design. The sample is 50 people with purposive sampling technique. The analysis before and after treatment was carried out by paired sample t-test, the results were that all variables had significant differences (P value> 0.05). Variable differences between groups using t-two independent test with an alpha of 0.05 resulted in a significant difference in appetite (P value = 0.01) and a significant difference in height (p value = 0.020). There was no significant difference between sleep quality and endurance (P value > 0.05). It was concluded that there was a significant difference before and after education on stunting, while between the bio acupressure and conventional groups there was a significant difference in the variables of appetite and height. It is recommended that in overcoming stunting, bio acupressure massage education is the right education.

Abstract

The geographical location of schools in coastal areas is certainly very influential on the development of digital literacy in the learning process. This is caused by various obstacles, both material constraints, human resources, and social constraints, which then have an impact on the inhibition of the digital-based learning process. The purpose of this study has three objectives, as follows: To determine the extent to which the use of digital literacy has implications for learning, to find out the obstacles and challenges in the application of digital literacy, and to optimize the application of digital literacy in learning activities. Qualitative analysis was used in this study. The average result of implementing digital literacy in coastal areas has only reached 45% in the learning process. There are also obstacles in its implementation due to limited Human Resources (HR) for both educators and students, lack of facilities and infrastructure, the location of school demographics, management of digital literacy applications that have not been maximized by schools and teachers who drive digital literacy. It can be concluded that the application of digital literacy is still not optimal.

Abstract

Online learning today was said to be unsuccessful and far from expected. It had a less good impact on the formation of characters where children depend heavily on parents and less interaction with others. This was one reason for research aimed at analyzing the implementation of character value in online learning. This type of research is qualitatively discrete. Data was collected from the principal, two teachers who have been certified who have taught for 15 years after the local content teacher. Data collection methods include interviews and observations. The data analysis used was triangulation. The research results stated that implementing the main character values, namely religion, nationalism, media, teamwork, and integrity, is not carried out in the implementation and evaluation stages because learning is done online. So, in online learning, the central values of religion, nationalism, media, teamwork, and integrity are not done, to overcome this can be done by conducting supervision programs.

Abstract

The low mathematical resilience of students, one of the factors is the fear of being wrong so that it shows things related to students' emotions. Mathematical resilience and emotional intelligence are interrelated, therefore students need to develop mathematical resilience and emotional intelligence to be ready to face challenges and be able to learn optimally. The purpose of this study is to analyze mathematical resilience on students' emotional intelligence based on gender in twelve different schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The population of this study was 814 students consisting of 301 male students and 513 female students. The selection of subjects in this study by looking at the category of Mathematical Resilience, namely high, medium and low. Subjects were selected using the Winsteps application by looking at the wright map table. From the total population, the researcher chose three subjects to be studied in depth. Furthermore, the selected subjects were asked to fill out an Emotional Intelligence questionnaire and interviewed by the researcher. The results of the analysis of ST who have high Mathematical Resilience have high Emotional Intelligence, ST are able to control themselves and have high interest in learning mathematics, SS who have moderate Mathematics Resilience have moderate Emotional Intelligence. In the learning process, SS does not focus on learning and is less able to explore its potential in depth. SR who have low Mathematical Resilience have low Emotional Intelligence as well. SR tends to give up easily and has low learning motivation. However, it should be noted that there is no gender difference in Emotional Intelligence, because this is based on the instrument or measuring instrument used in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teaching methods using problem solving and conventional on population knowledge. The research was conducted experimentally with a 2x2 factorial design on 80 students consisting of 40 students having a high attitude, and 40 students having a low attitude at the Junior High School 2 Tambun Selatan-Bekasi. Data collection regarding population knowledge was carried out using an objective test instrument with the answer choices True (B) with a score of 1 and False (S) with a score of 0. The data were analyzed by means of two-way analysis of variance, and the Tukey test. Research results There are differences in population knowledge learning outcomes between students who are given problem solving teaching methods and students who are given conventional teaching methods; There is an interaction between teaching methods and students' attitudes towards population knowledge; Study groups that have high and low attitudes have higher population knowledge learning outcomes when given problem solving teaching methods compared to students who are given conventional teaching methods. The implication is that teachers in teaching must always build a high attitude in the classroom so that positive interactions occur in the teaching and learning process by using various learning methods.
